Who provides Bokheim
Bokheim is operated by Johan Andersson Östling. Contact johan@bokheim.se with questions about these terms or the service.
Using Bokheim
These terms cover Bokheim’s hosted account, cloud storage and syncing services. Any separate software licence continues to apply to the app. Local reading does not require a Bokheim account.
The hosted service is currently free. Any future paid service would require your agreement before you are charged. Storage limits are shown in the app.
Keep your account credentials secure and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not use the service for unlawful activity, attempt to access another person’s account or files, or deliberately disrupt the service.
Your files
You retain your rights to your files and annotations. Only upload material you have the right to use and store. Uploading a file does not make it available for public browsing.
You give Bokheim permission to store, copy and process uploaded files as needed to provide and maintain the services you request. This permission does not transfer ownership of your files.
Availability and changes
The service may be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems or events outside our control. Keep a separate copy of files you want to preserve.
We may change the service to improve functionality, maintain security or meet legal requirements. We will give reasonable advance notice of significant changes affecting your use, unless urgent security or legal requirements prevent this. If we discontinue the hosted service, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to download your files where possible.
Account restrictions
We may restrict or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to address a serious breach of these terms, unlawful activity or a security threat. Where possible, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue. Contact us if you believe a restriction is mistaken.
Leaving Bokheim
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. The privacy policy explains account deletion, file retention and how personal information is handled.
Your legal rights
These terms are governed by Swedish law. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
If something goes wrong, contact us so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not restrict your right to use the complaints procedures or courts available to you under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We will explain material changes and give reasonable advance notice before they take effect, unless an urgent legal or security requirement makes that impractical. You may stop using the service and delete your account if you do not agree to a change. Any consent or other rights required by law still apply.
